Our team of athletic hairdressers gave their all this June in a gruelling fitness challenge that raised more than £3,000 for charity. Raising cash for Maggie's After months of tough training sessions, we completed a sponsored Five-in-Five fundraising effort – five fitness challenges in five hours – smashing our target of £1,000 and [...]
So as winter creeps in upon us, the temperature drops and we start drinking hot chocolate in bed with a blanket and a box-set of American Horror Story (other great American TV shows are available), I can’t wait to break out a new coat. I have to admit I’m more of the indoors, warm, [...]
T in the Park is upon us once again. Me and my wellies are ready to party in a muddy field. I'm super jealous of everyone who went to see The Stone Roses in Manchester at the weekend but I'm seeing them this coming Saturday so I'm learning to cope. In fact I can barely [...]

Earlier this May they met with Laurie Anderson, race coordinator with Scottish Hill Racing and local Kirkcaldy businessman, to quiz him on the dos and don’ts of conquering Ben Nevis.
Spring is here, which means the Brit and NME awards are fast becoming a distant memory. But before we forget completely, let me wax lyrical about them a while. My mum and I played a little game of guessing who would win, and guess what? All of the Brit awards were exactly as we [...]
Swapping our brushes for boots, we are going to climb Ben Nevis for Maggie's this June
I trust everyone had a fantastic Christmas and New Year? Full of fun and happy times? I was super-stressed over this Christmas break, what with up-and-coming prelims and an ill grandparent things seemed to be a little messed up this year. However, on Christmas morning I got possibly the best present I could wish [...]
