Hi everyone
This week it’s all about guy’s hair, and what’s cool for autumn/winter.
There is no getting away from the fact that most of us like to keep our hair short and sharp and I think that’s why barbering trends of the past seasons have been so popular. I think that is still a big trend, but bringing it up to date with less skin fading and a bit longer on the back and sides. A look taking inspiration from the late 80’s early 90’s French crop and having choppier layers with a fringe to create a looser more dishevelled feel.
The catwalk showed lots of 90’s influences and I saw guys with short bobs with middle parting (creating the 90’s curtain, think boy bands of that era). I think this is a look for guys in their twenties who haven’t already done this look and will therefore give it a fresh vibe.
Guys with curly hair, it’s time to embrace it and the key is shape and condition. Personally I like to keep a square internal shape staying clear of round shapes as I think this is less flattering to the angular shape of a masculine jaw line. Keeping the hair in great condition is key and curl defining creams will enhance and define the curl.
For you guys with long hair, you are bang on trend this season, the main thing is keeping texture in it and waves are a current look for autumn
When it comes to colour for guys I think natural is key for men’s colour and the team are here to give you lots of advice regarding a look to suit you.
One last tip, if you are happy with your haircut and don’t want to really change it, there is styling options and products to make your hair look slightly different.
Lots to think about and the team are here to help
