We’re looking to expand our team, with vacancies for experienced stylists and trainees, so we thought we’d tell you a bit about what makes us tick.
Other salons may talk about the value of teamwork, but at Byron it is a central part of what we do. We value every member of our team because we know each individual’s quality and commitment to outstanding client care are essential to our success. That’s why we have a policy of continual, ongoing education for everyone, from the newest trainee to the most experienced and longstanding senior stylist.
Our trainees go through an intensive training programme that leads to a Scottish Vocational Qualification and full certification as a hairdresser. As part of this, every Byron trainee learns the required skills within the salon, working with clients as part of our fantastic and friendly team. Our trainees are bright, articulate and interested in fashion – and want to succeed.
But it doesn’t stop there as we believe learning and practising is an ongoing, lifelong commitment. We want and expect all our stylists to continually develop and update their knowledge on current trends and techniques, so we have regular in-salon training sessions backed up by a wide range of external courses and seminars.
It’s a genuine two-way commitment that means everyone at Byron can look forward to an exciting and rewarding career, rather than a mere job. All our team members are dedicated to delivering the high standards of customer care that make Byron special, and they are passionate about doing so.
