In my opinion you are never too old to have long hair – but it’s about how you wear it – so I thought I would share some thoughts with you.

The condition is key –  so invest in a shampoo and conditioning product best suited to your hair type (your hairdresser will advise you) – and if you use heat styling products a heat protection cream or spray is a must

Choose a hairstyle that best suits your face shape – again your stylist will advise you – and the texture of your hair should also be taken into account when choosing the right length for you.  Generally thicker dense hair works well shoulder length and below and finer texture works best cut into strong blunt shapes above the shoulders.

The main piece of advice I give to clients who ask this question is as follows – layers to create movement and root lift, shape to frame your face, a length to suit your face and hair type, styling to complement the cut and you will have long hair that will work for you.
